Water on Rock

I love bringing people together.  And whether that is physically through organizing events like the “Fill the Chair Food Drive” in Gardner, MA so many years ago, or virtually every day in the Mozilla QA and Calendar projects, if I go home after inspiring someone or opening their mind to a new idea of what might be possible in the world, then I go home happy.

To do this on a much bigger and more entertaining scale, I’m also a novelist.  I’ve written four novels, one of which is ready for publication.  All I need is a publisher. 🙂

There will be much more to come about my writing on this site, so I will keep you in suspense.

The title?  It’s a bit of word play that came to my mind when reading the last movement of T.S. Eliot’s The Wasteland  for the twelve thousandth time (you should read it too).  I was thinking about my life and my crazy journeys and all the things I have done, have tried to do, and those things that I plan to do next.  And when you really want to create change, you are faced with the same problem the Colorado river was faced with when it encountered all that rock in what is now northern Arizona.  It just takes persistence toward your dreams.
